Emily Barham

Meet Our Principal! 

 

Emily Barham is a professional singing teacher and vocal coach. She is fully qualified and gained a Distinction in her London College of Music Teaching Diploma Examination. She aims to provide expert vocal training to her students and her aim is to not only improve their singing and performance abilities, but also work on their confidence whilst having fun!

Emily is a trained and experienced musical theatre and pop singer, having performed in West End theatres as well as larger spaces such as the 02 Arena. Emily also has first hand experience working in the music industry as a Singer-Songwriter, not only performing but also recording in professional recording studios in London and across the country, as well as releasing her own music under her professional name.

Emily trained at Guildford School of Acting for singing and at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London on a BA Hons in Performance course and has a full Enhanced DBS check available to view on request.

Emily has a 100% pass rate for students entered into examinations, including and up to Grade 8, and her students have also been involved in a number of different performance opportunities in Hampshire, London and across the globe. These range from charity concerts and pantos to professional auditions, productions and tours. Emily's students have also been accepted to a number of professional schools for further vocational training, including Laine Theatre Arts, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, GSA, Bird College, London Studio Centre, Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, Urdang Academy, Trinity Laban, Millennium Performing Arts, London College of Music, Performers College, PPA and many more.
